1. What leaves your device
Nothing. DETOX has no backend servers for media analysis. Your photos, videos, media metadata, and cleanup choices remain isolated on your iPhone's local storage.
2. Your photo library
DETOX requests permission to access your iOS Photo Library strictly to calculate file sizes, identify duplicate photos, and compress videos. Access is granted locally on your device.
- Photo metadata is analyzed using Apple's local Vision framework and neural engine.
- No photo or video content is ever transmitted over the network.
- Deletions are handled through iOS standard PhotoKit APIs, moving cleared items to your iPhone's Recently Deleted album where they remain for 30 days.
3. Third-party services
DETOX does not include third-party advertising SDKs, user tracking networks, or data brokers.
4. Analytics
Anonymous operational metrics (such as screen views and feature usage counts) may be processed locally to improve user experience, without attaching any personally identifiable information (PII).
